Meet Frankie!!! ID# A14950789

1-2 years old

61 lbs

American Pit Bull Terrier Mix

Frankie says: Hey there, my name is Frankie! What yours? Well, its very nice to meet you! I was brought to the shelter after I was found running on the side of the street. There I was, strolling along, when a car stopped. A lady got out and said hello to me. She looked nice so I went on over to say hello. The next thing I know I was going for a car ride! I like car rides! Luckily for me, this nice lady is a volunteer at the shelter I’m now living at so she’s going to keep an eye on me while I’m here.

Anyhow, she brought me here. The shelter people are nice and I have lots of doggie neighbors. There are even lots of kitties if that is more of what you are looking for. I’ll tell you something else, too! Cats don’t seem to bother me at all, so if you wanted to adopt me and one of my kitty friends too, you sure could! Of course, a slow introduction between me and a cat should be done to ensure we become good friends. Let the staff know if you already have a cat and they can test me again!

So, let me tell you a little bit more about me! I am an American Pit Bull Terrier mix, roughly 1-2 years old, I have a big, handsome head and weigh about 61lbs. Despite my size, I’m pretty easy to handle, I walk pretty well on a leash. I’m not a jumpy or mouthy kind of guy. I’m more the kind of guy who wants your attention. I like to snuggle, give kisses and get pet. I love toys. I especially LOVE tennis balls! I don’t have any issues with food or being touched all over! I like to be pet all over! I cant get enough of it! I sit for toys and treats and focus when I’m being spoken to. I’m willing to learn, so if you are willing to teach me, I’m sure I can learn all sorts of new tricks!

I’ve met a few dogs here at the shelter and I have to admit that I do get a little bit pushy. Its exciting to meet new dogs! What can I say? I’m a big, goofy, handsome guy with a lot of love to give! I especially think I have cute floppy ears and pretty copper eyes, I think you’ll like them too. If you think you would like to meet me, please bring down any resident dogs and any children under 8 too! I would love to meet the whole family! I guarantee you’ll love me!

My adoption fee is only $50 which includes all of my shots, neuter surgery and a microchip! I’m the total package!

Aw, Frankie. Don’t lookit me like that. 😦

  2. Isn’t he so adorable? I sure hope that he finds a home soon. I recently added four feral cats (no longer feral) to my family. They are happy cats now. Plus, they bring us a lot of happiness too. Anyway, thanks so much for helping these animals in need. My blogging friend Addie told me about your blog. I’m real glad that she did. 🙂

    • How generous of you to open your home to so many. I’m glad they are happy and acclimated. It feels selfish to accept thanks for doing something so very simple and so very small but thank you all the same. I’ll have to thank Addie for recommending me to you and I’m glad you like what I do here.

  3. Addie says:

Rest in peace, darling. You will for sure be more loved up there.
