Meet FRANCO!!! ID# 0921671
8 months old
Entered the shelter as a stray 😦
A volunteer writes: Franco sits patiently in his cage, his big eyes looking at me, perplexed, clearly wondering: what am I doing here? I should be outside, playing with you, other dogs and kids. I am just a 8 month old babe….. Franco is really good looking. Well nourished, and seems healthy. A pure chocolate coat without flaws. And to top it off, the greatest personality! Indeed, Franco is a well behaved youngster. He walks beautifully well on the leash and appears to be housetrained. He is very nice with dogs met on the way and would love to play with them. Left loose in the backyard, I go on a chase after him, tagging him on the way. He chases me back. We are having lots of fun. Clearly, Franco loves to play and he does not mouth…. Franco is a lovely and sweet puppy. He is at the Manhattan Care Center. He needs a little basic puppy training and he will be the perfect addition to your family. Yes, Franco, the awesome puppy is good to go to his loving new family.
Another volunteer writes: Franco is an amazing puppy. He has wonderful puppy energy but is not hyper in any way. He plays appropriately and gives FABULOUS body hugs. He’s a friendly boy, welcoming a friend and a good walk on this dreary, drizzly day. He was found as a stray but was clearly well taken care of. He’s well groomed and very social, happy to make friends, tail wagging at everyone who passed us by. Franco will fit into any family situation and like any puppy will need a little help growing up into the rock star dog he is destined to be. Franco is a must meet in Manhattan.
