My Project 365: A Dog a Day (Day 33)

Day 33

My Project 365: A Dog A Day

I will select a dog a day to share here.

A dog that is sheltered or fostered in the continental US.

A dog that needs a loving home.

A dog that wants a second chance.

Meet WILBUR (A15006860)!!!

*young* (1-3 years old)

Philly ACCT says: He is “Terrific,” “Radiant”, and quite “Some DOG!” This adorable young pit mix is the magnificent Wilbur!! Wilbur was surrendered to the shelter because his owners had moved, and couldn’t bring him along. Much like his pig counterpart, Wilbur is a rambunctious little guy, who loves life, even in the shelter, and wants nothing more than to be loved. He is extremely smart and would make the perfect student at puppy classes! I mean, with ears like that, how could he not be the best listener ever?? And while he doesn’t have a crafty little spider for a friend, he does have a human, his pen pal, to show him the ropes. Wilbur knows “sit,” and we are working on “lie down,” and “stay.” Wilbur sure loves his toys though! He really enjoys chewing on a good toy, and laying a blanket after he’s done playing for the day. He’s a little unsure of the other dogs at the shelter, but wants so very much to be their friend. If you have a dog at home, just bring them along so that we can be sure that everyone will be the best of friends. Also, because Wilbur is such a spunky, playful guy, he would just be too much for kids under 5, and will need to meet any child that he will be heading home with. Consider taking Wilbur home, and he will forever shower you with love.
