Meet EVA!! ID# 0922743

1.5 years old

50 lbs

A volunteer writes: Eva did the most wonderful thing when we were in the park yesterday. She was making eyes with another dog wanting to play, and when that dog walked away with her owner, Eva was sad, looked after her wistfully and then jumped up into my lap (yes all of her in one leap) for consolation. I was laughing so hard I almost fell off the bench! Eva is a delight!!! She is strikingly pretty with a well groomed coat, she appears to be housetrained “going” as soon as we were on the street, she sits on command and takes treats very gently, she posed beautifully for her pictures, went into the play position when we met big dogs in the park, and ignored the small yappy ones. Eva is good on the leash, walking nicely, checking up with me to make sure everything was OK (and it certainly was!). This is a wonderfully affectionate little girl, who will be happy spending time with her human no matter what activity might be happening -a long walk, a ball chase or simply curling up together watching TV. Do make a point of meeting Eva, she is ready to meet her forever family now.

This dog is located at the Manhattan AC&C (326 E 110th Street, NYC 10029). Please act quickly and GO DIRECTLY TO THE SHELTER to adopt (open 7 days per week from 8AM-7PM, adoptions opens at noon).
