ShooBop ShooBop Smyrna High

Day 18 — I would agree or disagree that high school is/was the time of my life… Because…

High school and I started out with fragile romance. At first he was great. He showered me with lovely things like Jon Schwartz, David Peffley, and marching band. He didn’t try to come between me and my friends from forever ago. He was so cool.

But we grew apart. He, or probably I, got bitter and distant. He started making demands on my time with pep rallies and float building. He hated my new friend, Hormo Nes. He said she was changing me and he didn’t like it. So we broke up.

After that he turned my life into a living hell. I couldn’t stand seeing him or being near him and he was EVERYWHERE. I couldn’t escape him. Luckily, though, Hormo Nes and I were still friends so we’d hide ourselves away from the world in my bedroom listening to music, pining for boys who thought we were nerds, and wishing for College to come take us away from everything.

Graduation could not have come sooner.
