A Gentle Swim

Nature soothes a nervous mind

In hollow caves what treasures find

Paths untrod let spirits soar

Unfettered now we go once more

Waters cool what asphalt burns

Wet upon where sun n’er turns

The ground is soft and invites my paws

Why am I in here

Haven’t you ever seen Jaws

Of course, Analaigh is the poetic one. Look out! Shaaaarks!

I love this poem. Looks like you’re having a fun time. Don’t worry about Jaws. You’re good. 🙂

    • Thank you. I love writing poetry, long walks, and cuddling. Mother keeps taking us swimming, sigh, says it’s summertime. What wrong with solid ground, I say? ~ Analaigh

A rare aquatic Analaigh-sighting! Can’t believe you caught it on camera!
