Who am I?
I am a work in progress.
Four years ago two amazing things happened: 1) I started rock climbing and 2) I started seeing Dale, my mentor/therapist/now friend. Whatever else I can say about life at that time, I can say that perfectly, those things happened exactly when I needed them to and I was exactly in the place I needed to be for them to matter as much as they did. With climbing I embraced my strength; physical, mental, and emotional. With Dale I learned to embrace me. The most important thing she ever told me was in that first year when I was struggling with the question “Who am I?” She said simply:
“Who you are is nothing more than the choice you make in the next moment“
So simple. So profound. And so, every day with every breath I choose who I am.
Those are your tattoos? So dope! Aaaaaagh! I want!
Thanks!!! I love them. I’ll let you know when I get the next one. It will be postponed due to movingness.

I am such a fan of walking labyrinths, so naturally I shall be a fan of your blog 🙂 Here’s to daily understanding the complex beings that we are…
I sincerely hope that you enjoy. Thank you for stopping over.
You sound like you are in a great place at the moment, and I love to hear this 🙂
It took 20 something years to get to a good starting place and I never expected I would so it’s like a double bonus. I owe it to myself to try.
